Kitchens Un-Fitted
Marks Design Council award winning Unfitted Kitchen range, the Chattel is freestanding. It is designed to accommodate appliances and other existing elements of furniture and fittings in the home.
Orientating the kitchen in this way makes it possible to adjust the scheme at a later date or take the kitchen furniture to your new home when it is time to move.
The practical, simple design concept of the Chattel allows each item of furniture in the range to be made using any of the many options of door design available and in any colour.
The range offers a choice of thirty furniture items in fifteen door designs with a wide choice of fittings.
It is the bespoke unfitted kitchen that has proved to be the stuff of Marks client’s dreams. This method of furnishing a kitchen is the antitheses of the conventional kitchen emporiums edict as it dose not satisfy their requirement to sell as many modular components as is possible to fit into any one room.
Mark first learnt of this concept when working with Johnny Grey having just left design collage in 1980 becoming an associate designer in 1982 before moving on.
